  Inspired by artists such as Within Temptation, Evanescence, Tori Amos and Lacuna Coil, Elva's debut single, "When I'm Sleeping", combines driving beats, soulful lyrics and soaring melodies in a warm fusion of gothic rock and the darker side of pop. "When I'm Sleeping" is to be the first track on Elva's forthcoming solo album. Originally recorded and produced by Shannon Parks as a part of Ashes of Eve, this track has found a new life, and will be the first single on her debut album "Ellia Blue". Elva weaves the warm, rich melody, driving beats, sweeping strings and a dash of mysticism into a tale of love lost and the self discovery that follows in this darkly decadent ballad. |
